About me
David L. Parrott, Ph.D, was born in Michigan and lived for a time in Pittsburgh and Sweden as a boy. He grew up in DuBois, Pennsylvania, and attended divinity schools in California and Boston earning an MA in Historical Theology. Because he had the desire to write fiction, he learned the building trade and had a small construction company to support his novel writing for many years. Later in his career he earned a Ph.D in communications media and taught philosophy, history, and computer applications at local colleges near his home. His writing projects reflect his interests in the humanities and in technology – interests that are reflected in the many workshop projects which have been a focus of his spare time for a number of years.
He is married with two grown children, and lives in the same house he and his father first renovated in the 1960’s.
