The Green Barn Workshop

Books and Projects

One of my favorite authors, when I was growing up, was James Michener. He was the bestselling author of books like Centennial and Tales of the South Pacific. I loved his books, but one of the things I found most interesting was his writing process. He would work on his latest novel each morning for four or five hours, take a break for lunch, and then work in his woodshop on craft projects until late in the afternoon. In the evenings he would go for long walks in the neighborhood of his house in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Since I have retired from teaching and construction work this has become my goal - to emulate that lifestyle and share my writing and craft projects with friends and family. Please, "keep in touch" by subscribing to my newsletter to keep the conversation going.

Med Vänligen Hälsningar!
With kind regards.
